The Linguists

This film follows two scientists as they race around the world to document endangered languages before they go extinct. Kenneth Turan called it “a fascinating journey with the Indiana Joneses of language hunters.”

“The Linguists” premiered at Sundance in 2008 and then went on to be nominated for an Emmy after a national PBS broadcast in 2009.
